Resume Writing Experience
I've been in business since 2004 and offer professional strategic
resume writing services and custom cover letter creation as well as job
search and interview coaching. My background includes several years working in the
employment services field and professional business to
business sales. Throughout the course of my career, I have
reviewed thousands of resumes and cover letters and coached many job
seekers on interviewing skills. While working as an
employment agent, I worked with the employer's hiring managers, so I understand what grabs a hiring
manager's attention and how to sell a job candidate on
paper so that employers' will be motivated ot contact you for
interviews.
I worked with clients of varying skill levels and from a variety of
industries including entry level candidates to senior executives; blue
collar to white collar occupations. I have consistently received positive
feedback from clients on the effectiveness of the resumes
and cover letters I have created.
I am a member of the Career
Professionals of Canada and hold the Certified Resume Strategist
designation. I serve clients locally, nationally and
internationally.

The Process
I require payment in full to begin working on your resume. My
fees include resume and cover letter creation as well as revisions.
Further, I will coach you on conducting an effective job
search campaign based on your situation and career objectives.
I begin a project by reviewing your existing resume followed by a
telephone interview to discuss any questions that I may have pertaining
to your skills and background. If you do not have a resume, I
will send you a questionnaire which will enable me to gather the
details I need including questions pertaining to your work history,
accomplishments, education and career goals. My turnaround
time for completion of your first draft is generally 3 to 5 business
days.
